Ok, she's now finished, what do people think:
Name: Jal Orran
Species: Human. Terra Cyclonia
Sex: Female
Age: 25
Eyes: Dark green eyes. Has almost perfect eyesight, and can see well in any light, [twilight etc] But her eyes are also extremely sensitive to strong light. [At noon on a clear day etc]
Height: 5’4”
Body: Is fairly slim. Thin waistline, slightly wide hips, somewhat flat-chested. Not particularly muscular and isn’t particularly strong. Is extremely pale, as she avoids sunlight as much as possible. Has no piercings. Has a black tattoo of a Dragon on her left shoulder, and a black tattoo of a Phoenix on her right shoulder. [Like this, but separated; http://bp0.blogger.com/_aus5sCTLpPg/R1Kw....oo_by_Milui.jpg] Has small nicks and cuts all over her body from various things, [like cuts on her hands from training, cuts/bruises on her legs from falls. Occupational hazards] Has a large scar down right leg, from the hip to just below the knee, which sometimes causes her to limp when overexerting herself. Has long brown hair, always tied back in a ponytail, but with her fringe hanging down over her eyes, too short to be held back in a ‘tail.
Style: She wears tight-fitting black cloth trousers. Very dark brown leather boots up to underneath the knees. A thin cloth shirt, which is very dark green, with long sleeves. Wears her short sword in it’s sheath across her back, the strap of which goes diagonally across her back from her left hip, up over her right shoulder, diagonally across her chest back to her left hip, then around her waist like a belt. Wears a pouch strapped to her left leg, and two pouches attached to her belt on the right hip. Dislikes wearing anything bright or anything that shows off any part of her body. [I.e. low cut tops, short skirts, dresses etc.]
Occupation: Mercenary. Works for the highest payer. [Which is normally Cyclonia]
Weapon: One short sword normally with a frost crystal, She is extremely proficient with this and her dagger, which she uses for stealthy kills. She also has had very basic training in hand-to-hand combat, but will always try to avoid fighting like this.
Vehicle: Uses an Air Skimmer III. It is painted black and Dark green, with a slightly lighter green detailing along the front edge of the wings, and the same lighter green in a perfect circle over the area where a squadron’s crest would be.
Personality: Is an extreme loner and travels alone where possible. If she must travel with others, she will keep to herself and speak to them only when necessary. She appears emotionless to strangers, but to those who know her there are little signs which will quite often give away what she is feeling. [E.g. a slight eye twitch, clenching her jaw, or clenching a fist] Is always careful and polite to employers/potential employers or those who could be considered a threat if she got on the wrong side of them, [E.g. Nightcrawlers, Dark Ace etc.] but couldn’t care less about underlings or those who she doesn‘t think are important. [E.g. Talons, Snipe, Raptors etc.] Can be patient at times, [during a stealth kill/trying to hide etc.] but will quite often lose her temper. [Having to wait for someone she is travelling with, having to listen to someone rambling on about something unimportant to her, someone asking a question etc.] Is just as likely to abandon someone as save them, but has a slight soft spot for young kids, but would never admit it vocally.
Hobbies: Spend her free time either training with her blade or sitting quietly somewhere reading. Anything that keeps her away from others.
Relationships: She was born on Terra Tranqua. Was very close to her mother and was civil with her father, until her mother died when she was 10. Her father remarried when she was 13, but she never got on with her step-mother. She has a half-brother who was born in her 14th year and is now 11 years old. Has never had a serious romantic relationship as she doesn’t make the time to make it work. Her only relationship was with Tyler, a mercenary she met on Terra Atmosia, which was short lived as he disliked her being such an introvert, and thought of her as too cold to care about her enough and abandons her on a Cyclonian Terra. If Jal ever runs into him on a job, she’ll treat him with a cold civility. She has friends on Terra Tranqua from when she was younger, and kept in touch, spending a lot of her free time there, before being placed on the Cyclonian payroll permanently and is a lot less introverted around them.
History: Was born on Terra Tranqua to working class parents. She grew up well cared for, and helped her mother, a waitress, by cleaning at home, and her father was a chef at the same restaurant as her mother. He also did all the cooking at home. She spent her free time pulling pranks with her friends, and getting into trouble with the adults on the Terra for disturbing the peace. When her mother died, shortly after her 10th birthday, she grew up, and stopped pulling pranks, and by the time her father remarried, [when she was 13] she was the ‘grown up’ in her group of friends and was becoming more and more introverted. When she hit her 14th birthday she took a job as a waitress in the restaurant that her father now owned. Shortly after taking the job her half-brother, Toran, was born, causing an even bigger rift between her and her parents.
When she hit 16 Jal left Terra Tranqua for Terra Atmosia, taking another job as a waitress to get some money. Here she met Tyler, her first [and only] semi serious relationship. He asked her to travel with him around the Atmos and taught her how to fight with a blade and dagger. After three years of working together Tyler makes a move on her and they stay together for a year, until Jal became too introverted for his liking and abandoned her on a Cyclonian controlled Terra. She decided to give herself up to Snipe, and offer her services as a paid mercenary. [By this time she is 21]. She started out working for Snipe and slowly started working for Ravess, then some important missions for Cyclonis, then often working with Snipe and Ravess as ‘equals‘, and very rarely worked under Dark Ace.
She enjoys working as a mercenary, and during the first couple of years, would go out to Terras and do some freelance work, until Cyclonis decided that she wanted Jal to do important work for her, and put her on the Cyclonian payroll permanently, something that Jal did not agree with, but was unable to do anything about. The first 'job' Cyclonis had for her was to be in an experiment which was an attempt to improve eyesight to gain an advantage over Atmosians, so Cyclonis' Talons could attack at night and be able to see the enemy perfectly while they would be flying blind. The experiment was successful in that it improved Jal's eyesight, but had the unexpected side effect of having major photosensitivity, meaning that Jal had to wear sunglasses to go out during the day. Something she hated.

Hmmm. Same goes for my girl. Though it's partly just for the money too. I might join in on the same rp, though I don't know that I'll be any good at it.
