A familiar sound of suspension cords was heard taking it's grip into the stony cliffs of Terra Amazonia. The engine's faint weerrrr was still heard through out the large vessel.
Nikilo took a break from being behind the pilot seat and yawned. He opened up the fridge and looked inside for food.
"DO WE HAVE ANY FOOD IN THIS SHIP?" He barked out. A drone of "NO" was heard from his crew and he sighed.
Darak stepped inside the commons area and clapped. "Attention, team. We're at Amazonia because I got a radio call from Atmos; they need a couple of squadrons patrolling this terra." He told his disgruntled team.
"So we're, like, not the only squadron here?" Sak looked up from his glittery nail polish. "Like, Oh-em-gee! Zara, I can finally put that streak of red in your hair!"
Zara shrugged. "I can do it myself." She brushed away some of her blonde hair out of her face.
"YEAH but it'd be so cool if I did i-"
"ENOUGH!" Darak barked at the twins. "Sak, I have a good idea of what you're thinking and NO. We will NOT be slacking off! We're going to take turns going out on patrol no matter HOW many squadrons show up. We have a reputation to up hold and I will NOT tolerate such ridiculous actions!" He wasn't going to lose his squadron's undivided attention.
The ship was quiet for a moment before Zara chirped "Who goes first?"
"Not it!"
"Not me!"
"Nope!"
"You must know by now that such a preposterous trick never works!" Darak barked. He hated being the last who caught on to that trick every time it was played. He glared at Sak as he let out his girly giggles and ignored Nikilo's roaring laughter.
"We could play-"
"NO CHECKERS, ZARA"
"... I was going to suggest rock paper scissors." The blonde shrugged and played with her lip ring.
"UGH. If you must insist." Darak rolled his eyes.
"Rock Paper Scissor shoot-"
"Why must everyone chose rock everytime?" Darak asked no one in particular.
"You know what?" Zara rolled her eyes. "Screw this; I'm going out to patrol first- HAPPY?"
"Why, Zara. How noble of you to step up to the plate-"
"YEAH YEAH." Zara grabbed her checker-patterned back and went off to the hatches to go off to her skimmer, grumbling. "Anything to stop hearing your obnoxious voice..."
"I BEG YOUR PARDON!"
"CAN'T HEAR YOU! SKIMMERS TOO LOUD!" Zara yelled as she stared her skimmer and flew out.
Zara flew out and landed in a small clearing in the forest. She wasn't too far from the ship; she didn't plan on going to far. She looked out at the view and smiled.
"Not that bad of a view." She smiled
Darak was still on the ship and still in a bad mood.
"That girl will NOT quit being herself, will she?" He scoffed to his shorter but stockier friend.
Nikilo grinned. 'Hey, It's what she does best." He laughed. "And don't forget it's only for tonight."
"Of course." Darak rolled his eyes and sat at the kitchen table his good friend was at. Sak was probably in his room doing the girliest thing his girly heart desired.
Darak didn't need to deal with that now, however. He had a job to do. He grabbed the radio and spoke into it.
"Sky Scratchers coming in. We're on patrol in sector five of Terra Amazonia and looking for any squadrons out there. Over." He said into it and waited for an answer. No answer came so he repeated it again.
