Name: Faith Lyrabelle
Species: Human, Terra Galean
Sex: Female
Age: 20
Eyes: Green. 20/20
Height: 5’9”
Body: Well built. Brown hair down to shoulders, worn always in a ponytail. She has multiple ear piercings on the right side (Three cartilage and two lobe.) and a tongue piercing.
Style: Her squadron’s colors are orange and green and she wears a short sleeved-top with a checker pattern. Her squadron’s symbol is an intricate series of lines and columns, indicating the west wind for which it’s named. She also wears her trademark hat, which no one may touch. Ever.
Occupation: Faith is the skyknight of the Squadron, the Viral Zephyrs. They’re a young squadron, only out of the academy for a year. Faith passed the trials at the bottom of her class, but is determined to make a good skyknight and squadron.
Weapon: Faith fights with a blowgun and darts, tipped with crystal powder. At any one time, she will carry around darts tipped with Paralyzer Stone, Firebolt Crystal, Frost Crystal, Swarm Crystal, and Cloaking Crystal. Each dart has the same effect as the crystal it’s tipped with. Though she is the skyknight, in battle, she takes on the stance of the Sharpshooter.
Vehicle: Faith rides an Air Skimmer III, completely stripped of its weapons. The nearly bare frame makes for beautiful maneuverability and a hard to hit shape. It is orange, with brown and green trim along the wings, and, as she often brags, the seat is very comfy. She rides off the Ibis.
Personality: Faith is kind of a jokester. She knows when to be serious, but her favorite way to approach almost everything is with a light heart and comedy on her side. She is a voracious flirt, and knows just what buttons to push to fluster someone. She also isn’t afraid to overstep the boundaries a little bit to make things work in her favor. At first introduction, she is very polite, but if you get to know her well enough, you’ve got to be on your toes, because she’s a clever one.
Hobbies: Faith is an artist in her free time. Her room is splattered with paint, and it’s hard to move around the Zephyrs’ airship without finding multiple drawings underfoot, whether discarded or simply dropped.
Relationships: Faith’s parents, surprisingly enough, are alive and well, living on Terra Gale. She’s a farm girl at heart and loves her parents very much. Her squadron is much closer to her, however, and she cares for each of them with an open heart, ready to jump into the fray and fire to save any one of their lives. She builds relationships rather easily and after ten minutes in her presence, chances are, she already considers you a friend.
History: Faith was born on Terra Gale, and started her life playing with the hens and other livestock on her parents’ farm. She was very adventurous as a child, and, at a family gathering, will often be embarrassed as her father tells stories of her falling into the pigpen, and almost tumbling off the Terra more times than one can count. However, she was, and still is very loved by her parents.
When she turned nine, Faith was taken by Talons as a ransom to Terra Gale. Her life for control of the Terra. At first, the inhabitants were resistant, but before long, they were quite prepared to crack and hand over their home for Faith’s safety. When the agreement was passed, the Talons took Faith back to Terra Gale, led by Snipe. An attest to the girl’s spunky attitude, when she was placed back on the firm ground of her home Terra, she turned right around, stuck her tongue out at the bulky Cyclonian commander, and promptly kicked him where it hurt, before skipping back to her family’s arms. During the conflict that arose from that, the Rebel Ducks managed to chase off the Talons successfully.
The first time Faith rode a skimmer, she was eleven, and was meeting the Rebel Ducks for the first time. As her father spoke with their sky knight, she was completely fascinated by his skimmer. After almost ten minutes of watching her stare at it, she was offered a ride. Eyes light, she joyfully agreed. After that day, she set herself to building parts, scavenging what she could, and putting together her own skimmer. Every day, she had the help of Terra Gale’s skyknight.
Her decision to become a skyknight was when she was seventeen. After training, and practicing, to make sure she could always defend her family’s farm, there was a day when Talons attempted to once more raid the Terra. Faith begged the Rebel Ducks until they couldn’t tell her no and allowed her to come into battle with them. The exhilaration, the rush, and the feeling like she was protecting things that mattered to her were so great, she immediately enrolled in the sky knight academy.
After becoming a sky knight, Faith met her squadron members one by one. Tern, her technician and mechanic, she met in a bazarr on Terra Saharr. They both wanted the same frost crystal, and argued over it for half an hour, before stopping to notice each other. After a good few hours of conversation, Faith gave in and let Tern have the crystal, and then a place in her squadron.
She met Swan, their medical specialist, on Atmosia. It had been weeks since Faith’s last proper meal, and she passed out in the square. She awoke later on in someone’s bed with a cool cloth over her eyes. She and Swan became fast friends and Faith has always considered herself indebted to her.
Currently, the squadron is only three, but they are still on the lookout for people who can keep up with them.
