Name: The Electric Skulls
Motto: “Pillage and Burn!” (The motto tends to vary depending on who says it. For example, Nagi says “Pillage, Burn, and PARTAY!” and Mims says “Pillage and then, burn, remember!”)
Age: About 6 years.
Founder: Nagi and, to a lesser degree, Meltz.
Insignia: A grinning skull with a crown and lightning bolts flying off of it.
Ship: The Hollow is a heavily customized South Eastern Atmosian merchant ship. It has a base color of a bright turquoise blue, but Meltz has since covered about a third of it with graffiti, and the rest is rather patchwork due to various damages the ship has taken over time. It’s slightly larger than most air ships due to the extra cargo space that was needed when it was a merchant ship. This has since been converted into various extra rooms and such. The Hollow is a total length of 243 meters, and has 7290 square meters of interior room.
Weapons: The Hollow has a heavy arsenal, with two mounted manual-controlled gun turrets, five Heavy-Fire Energy Blaster Cannons on each side of the ship, ten small guns on the front, and three major energy cannons right above them. There is also an array of other weapons, though they’re usually a one time thing that Mims comes up with for a certain job. Each member of the crew has their own arsenal of weapons as well.
Normally Carries: Six crew members, eight cats, loot, a lot of junk, dirty dishes, and supplies (food, medical devices, fuel) for accommodating up to seven months.
Positions:
Nagi- Captain. Merb. She normally chooses the targets, and leads the crew into battle. She rides a highly customized and stolen Talon Elite, and wields a pair of Energy Patas powered by a level 9 Acid crystal and a level 8 Shocker crystal, respectively.
Meltz- Mechanic/Sniper. Human. Fixes whatever everyone else breaks, and is Nagi’s right hand man. He rides a highly customized Skimmer III Ultra, and wields a heavy duty two-handed sword powered by a level 9 Oblivion Crystal, which is his prized possession, and four Firebolt crystals.
Mims- Stealth and Strategy Advisor. Wallop. He works out the plans for the hits, and attempts to get everyone to follow them. He rides a heavily customized Slip-Wing Fighter X-25, and wields a Energy Yari polearm, powered by Blizzard Crystal.
Jade- Heavy Ballistics/Decoy. Human. She’s one of the toughest fighters in the Atmos, and also the shortest. At a measly 4' 8", she normally gets stuck as a decoy when the need comes. She rides a heavily customized Heliscooter, and wields a pair of Energy Kusarigamas powered by Blitz Crystals.
Gauze- Pilot and Navigator. Merb. He’s the one in charge of keeping them from crashing. He has an old Heliscooter, but he rarely leaves the Hollow, so it just sits in the corner. He has an Energy Great Axe powered by a Rumus Crystal.
In- Medic, Cook, and Light Artillery. Raptor. In is the one that keeps the Hollow from turning into a garbage dump, if only because she is a clean freak. She provides back up on missions. In rides a heavily customized Bone Wing, and wields a Energy Cannon powered by Kami Crystals.
Social Standing: Slightly known. They’re not nearly as infamous as the Murk Raiders, but they’ve got a bit of a reputation nonetheless.
Finance: Depends on when their last hit was, but they normally have a pretty good supply of crystals and loot, even if it is just whet the other crew members hid from Nagi when she goes on one of her shopping sprees.
Lifestyle: The Electric Skulls tend to be pretty nomadic, making a hit in one part of the Atmos and then moving very quickly away. However, they’re just as likely to stop somewhere for a week or two if the place has low enough security and provides enough entertainment.
Base Of Operations: They have a hideout in the Lower South Eastern Wasteland regions of the Atmos.
Territory: A good sized area of the Lower South Eastern Wastelands.
Pets: Not pets persay, but there are about eight or so cats that have wandered in the Hollow by their own accord, and no one ever bothered to kick them out. They’re fed, and about six of them have names so far. The other two are just called “Hey you” or “Cat” for now. The named cats consist of Latte, Brianette, Roomie, Kitty-Kitty-Bom-Bom, Icarus, and Booty.
Fears: Being beaten, Mims cooking dinner, any serious engine problems, being on the receiving end of a attack, any loot going missing, their hideout being located, and cleaning the litter box.
Goals: To become the most feared Sky Pirates in the Atmos.
Priorities: Looting, pillaging, staying hidden, and shirking chores.
Hobbies: Searching out new targets, partying, blasting loud music, having a general disregard for the law, and sneaking around.
Flaws: Depends on the crew member, but all of them tend to be rather arrogant.
Peculiarities: A tendency to blast loud music when going into battle, or just any time. Their appearance is quite eccentric as well.
Loyalty: Themselves, money, and, to a certain degree, each other.
Soft Spot: Treasure, money, a chance for fame.
Talents: Stealthy, unorthodox plans and techniques make for very good attacks, ruthless, disregard for personal safety.
Secrets: Their hideout and In’s Fifty-bean salad recipe.
Brief History: The Electric Skulls got their unofficial start when Nagi and Meltz, dragged along against his will, stole the Hollow back from the Cyclonians. It had been captured during the invasion of Terra Gale, and the rest of the crew killed. Nagi was the daughter of the pilot and Meltz was the mechanic-in-training at the time.
After stealing back the ship, they were immediately labeled as wanted criminals. Nagi basically went “Whatevers, let’s be pirates now, LOLZ!” Meltz was, of course, dragged along. Unfortunately, there were only two of them, and Nagi had a limited amount of experience piloting the ship. So they set out to recruit more members to their crew. The first to join was Jade, who was then a Cyclonian foot soldier assigned to capture the two. She was very close to capturing Nagi when they struck up a conversation about music, and it turned out they were both fans of the same band. Things went from there, and Jade switched sides.
The next to join was Gauze, who joined for no apparent reason at the request of Nagi. They had known each other in the past, though neither elaborated further. After that, the next to join was Mims. Meltz got him to join after betting a drinking contest on whether he would join or not. Meltz won, so Mims was stuck joining. Last to join was In, about two years after the Electric Skulls was started. The Skulls attacked a Cyclonian Prison ship, thinking it was a cargo ship. It wasn’t, but they busted In out and she joined them.
With a full crew assembled, the Skulls set about becoming the most feared Sky Pirates in the Atmos. This was harder than it seemed. For one, they were one of the youngest Sky Pirate Crews in the Atmos, and this meant that they did not receive much respect from the other pirate ships. After four years of pillaging and taking out other pirates, however, they won their place, and were at least reasonably respected. However, this newfound respect went to their heads, and they decided to try and take down the infamous Murk Raiders and assert themselves as the Kings of Pirates. Needless to say, they got their asses handed to them.
Their egos thoroughly bruised, the Skulls have spent the last two years sulking in the shadows to make their big comeback.
