Name: Harbingers
Motto: “Not Seen, Not Heard, Not Spoken”
Age: 3 years
Founder: Blaine Hammel
Insignia: Cyclonian Talon
Ship: The Silent Night is a small transportation ship of Cyclonian origin. It is made from titanium sheets with copper coloring. The titanium is light weight which allows the ship to move swiftly and silently through the air. The interior is a single open hanger with a helm at the nose. There is a cot and a crate of medical supplies in one corner for emergency care only. Two benches are mounted on either side of the ship and a gun rack hangs by the rear door. The Silent Night is 15.6 meters long, 2.7 meters wide and 5.5 meters high.
Weapons: The Silent Night is equipped with single cannon for defensive purposes. It is powered by Blazer crystals and fires Eruption stones. The cannon is mounted on the roof of the ship and is manned by Dieter as he is the only one who can fire the cannon without getting thrown off by the recoil. In desperate situations some of the crew members will stand at the open doorway and fire with their rifles. Each member of the crew has their own set of guns as well.
Normally Carries: Five crew members, small arsenal of guns, and a medical supplies crate.
Positions:
Blaine – Sniper; Human; First in command; Leads the squad in their missions. Has a superiority complex over his subordinates. His squad obeys his commands, but they do not respect him. Heckler & Koch PSG1-style sniper rifle which uses bullets tipped with Oblivion crystals. Also uses a Colt 1911 style handgun in case of close contact. The handgun uses Fireblot crystals.
Dieter – Marksman/Heavy Ballistics; Human; Second in command; The crude, outspoken brute force behind the Herbingers. On the field he uses an Alex-style sniper rifle which uses Striker crystals. On the ship, Dieter mans a cannon that is powered by Blazer crystals and fires Eruption stones.
Amadi – Marksman/Pilot; Human; Third in command; The very skilled, one-handed ladies man in the Harbingers. For self-defense Amadi uses a compact semiautomatic .45 handgun which uses Boomer crystals. On the field he uses an M40-style sniper rifle which also uses Boomer crystals. Amadi favors Boomer crystal bullets saying he knows what kind of damage they can do first hand, and he liked the results. He has trained him self to eject and chamber a new round with one hand.
Beck – Marksman; Human; Last in command; He’s the guy who seems like he shouldn’t be doing this job, but is too good at it for them to say he can’t. A little creepy, paranoid, and too eager to pull the trigger. On the field he uses a M82 .50 caliber-style sniper rifle which uses oblivion crystal tipped bullets. For leisure purposes he uses a modified Beretta 92-style handgun which also uses oblivion crystal tipped bullets.
Consuela – Medic/Psychologist; Merb; The quiet, elderly member of the group. It is her job to keep everyone from going postal.
Social Standing: Very well known for their work. They are ranked top amongst sniper and special stealth kill squads, and are often the first ones called on for a mission. The Harbingers are usually given missions with the highest danger rate because they are the only ones who can handle it. However, they do not hold a candle to the fame of Dark Ace, Ravess, and Snape.
Finance: Receive a steady income from the Cyclonian government which covers living expenses, food, and other necessities.
Lifestyle: The Harbingers live comfortably on an income provided by Cyclonia. The squad members do not struggle to get by. Their home is fully furnished, they eat well, and they have pleasure necessities like television and radio. The squad members sometimes do odd jobs to make money for personal enjoyment.
Base of Operations: Lives in a two story group house in Cyclonia. The squad never knows when they will be called on so they are required to stay together at all times.
Territory: Um… Cyclonia?
Fears: As a whole the Harbingers don’t have any fears as they are very confident in themselves. However, the individual members have their own fears.
Goals: To be the best sniper squad on Atmos and rise to the ranks of ultimate fame.
Priorities: Fulfilling their missions and getting as much fun out of life as possible.
Hobbies: General screwing around and pursuing personal pleasures.
Flaws: Depends on the crew member, but all of them tend to be cocky and temperamental on one level or another.
Peculiarities: The fact that they are a squad of misfits. They are a bunch of very crooked puzzle pieces that happen to fit together.
Loyalty: Cyclonia, but more to their loved ones.
Soft Spot: When they screw up a mission.
Talents: Stealth, accuracy, and kill rate.
Secrets: Their existence as the Harbingers.
Brief History: The Harbingers were established immediately after Blaine’s graduation. The young prodigy was made leader with his exceptional show of sniper skills. Dieter came from a disbanded squad whose leader had been killed by a Sky Knight. He was put in charge of heavy ballistics in addition to being a marksman. Amadi was brought in next as the pilot and a marksman. He used to work with crystals but an accident blew his arm off. Beck was then brought in after graduation and serious therapy. He was yet another marksman. Finally there was the Merb, Consuela. She was pulled from a labor field to be the medic and therapist for the Harbingers.
For the next three years the Harbingers carried out mission after mission without flaw, or at least flaws they won’t discuss. They quickly developed a reputation for dependency and efficiency. It has gotten to the point where they are called on for the most dangerous missions with the largest number of targets.
